What We Offer

Even in this age of digital communication, there is still a need to send and receive printed material — and Mail Services is here to assist you every step of the way. We can plan and coordinate your large mailings, help cut your postage expenses, and speed the delivery of your mail.

  • Locations

Our two retail locations (at the Highlander Service Station and in the Corporation Yard) provide most of the services offered by the United States Postal Service.

  • Types Of Mail

We provide most of the services offered by the United States Postal Service — including sending First Class, Registered, Certified, Express, Priority and Insured Mail.

  • Mail Carriers

We can ship via USPS, FedEx, and UPS.

  • Bulk Mail

Mailings to the United States and Canada of more than 200 pieces may qualify to be sent as Bulk Mail, a significant cost savings as compared to First Class mail.

There are a number of limitations and restrictions involved with Bulk Mail. Fortunately, the staff at Mail Services are experts, and we can assist you at every stage of the process.

To get started, you will need to provide us with a mailing list (an Excel spreadsheet is ideal) and what you’d like to mail. In fact, if your materials are produced at Digital Print Services, they can be delivered directly to us for processing — once you approve a proof, we can take care of everything else, including dropping your bulk mailing at the Post Office.

    Have questions?
Contact us or email George Dobison to discuss your project. One of our experts will review your project over the phone, communicate via e-mail or come to your office to help determine exactly what your needs are.

Mail Services collects and distributes US and interdepartmental mail twice daily. Mail delivery schedules are based on building locations, mail volume, vehicle pattern and US Post Office schedules.  Generally, interdepartmental mail collected in the morning will be delivered on afternoon routes the same day. All other campus mail, including all afternoon collections, will be delivered the following day.

  • Campus Mail

Generally, interdepartmental mail collected in the morning will be delivered on afternoon routes the same day. All other campus mail, including all afternoon collections, will be delivered the following day.

  • Addressing Interdepartmental Mail

When sending information through Campus Mail, use the following guidelines:
    •    Use the reusable intercampus 10” x 13” mailing envelope
    •    Completely cross out all other addresses on the envelope
    •    A correct and complete address must be used
    •    Print clearly the receiver's name and department
    •    Mail with an illegible address may be opened for identification by Mail Service personnel

  • Request for New/Additional Mail Stop

Departments desiring new or additional mail stops must make a formal request in writing to Mail Services. Request must include department name and recording number, personnel roster, location, and the date service is to begin.

  • Incoming Mail

To speed delivery, all incoming mail should be addressed.  Always use the complete university mailing address, including your building, room and three-digit department code.

  • Outgoing Mail

Customer’s Mail services accounting system assigns an account number to all customers. This account number is used to track customers' postage usage.

  • General University Mailings

General distribution items are memos, flyers, etc. that must reach all departments on campus, but do not need to be individually addressed. A sponsoring department must be named in each distribution and the memo/flyer must be of "Official University Business".

  • Messenger Service

We provide time-sensitive document and small package delivery on and off-campus. Call us or use the Mail Services Work Order system to arrange delivery.

  • Campus Lists

More than 20 Distribution Lists are available for quick delivery to a specific group or target audience. Some lists require special prior approval before use. Contact Mail Services for more information.

  • Request Change Of Address

To change your address please visit USPS to submit that request.
